Took a vacation from NYC to Salt Lake and then through Capitol Reef to Bryce. Drove via scenic byway 12 which left deep impressions in my mind. Hiked up to a waterfall in the desert and saw some of the most spectacular scenery I've ever seen. The different sandstone and geological features combined with the contrasting hues of red, tan, and green pine trees were like nothing I've imagined. Absolutely incredible.
