Would Not Recommend!If your idea of a fishing trip is watching the captain and his crew catch big fish while you catch small throw backs, then this is the trip for you. I have been on many deep sea fishing trips and this was the least amount of cumulative fish ever caught that I have seen. what a rip off !My fishing experience with these people was awful. The crew had no idea what they were doing. They were also very rude to me and my family. Worth It!In July I booked a 8 hour fishing trip for my husband and son. They arrived at Ospry around 6:20am in the morning, quite nervous and anxious, the weather was rainy, it was cold and my son's million questions: Do we have cell phone reception if there is an emergency, what if we sink, what if a shark pulls me in and so on. I would recommend, to look into other deep sea tripsThe boat was nice and comfortable, enjoyed the ride. No problem with the equipment provided. The one problem was the deck hands' attitudes. (Not sure how many deck hands on boat but at least two had these issues) At times they were condescending and impatient. dont spend the moneythe place presents itself very well.the captain bob,who doesnt know where fish are,never speaks to anyone,the crew,will push you to the side and fish themselves, even though you paid for your trip, and then ask you for tips,all the way back to the docks. Had a great time!!!This fishing trip was one of the best I've ever had and it was because of the crew on the Osprey. They were so helpful, fun, and treated us great. The boat was comfortable and clean too.
There were three of us and we will definitely be going back again to fish with them. We fished 4 days and caught 255 lbs of fish. Had to buy an extra cooler to bring them home.OVERALLAtmosphere -
Beware...If you are an experienced fishermen - this might be the trip for you. My wife and I opted for the 8 hour trip. I assumed deep sea fishing meant going for "BIG FISH". FUN TIME BY ALLWe had probably 20 people on our 5 hour deep sea trip. We caught little because the shark were biting. BUT, 5 hours was plenty of time for our group. Several people got sick but were either hung-over kids or didn't take dramine. We felt a little sick sometimes but we are land-lovers. But, for our first trip the time was great! Be prepared to get "hassled" by the crew for tips. But hey, I guess everyone has to make a living!OVERALLAtmosphereValue
