Lake Lavon is a nice place to take your family to for a picnic and to fish or to throw a ball or frizbee. We have had our boat at East Fork Marina at Lavon. The people that run the Marina are very nice and helpfull. We caught many fish there last summer using worms. The Marina is secluded and quiet and the people are great.

This lake is probably the cleanest and clearest of all the lakes. It's water has a turquoise cast to it. There is a nice park on the southsoutheast end that has sandy beaches and a rocky shoreline. This is my favorite lake of all in the area due to its pristine nature.
