I fell in love with Landa Park. It is gorgeous. We rode the mini train around the park and watched the squirrels and ducks. Everyone waved as we rode pass. We then had icecream and watched the ducks by the mini train station and then we went on a paddle boat ride. The water was incredible. One can see straight to the bottom. As my husband ...

Best little park in Texas
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/16/07
This sleepy little wayside recreation respit was a true find.
We like to take rides and this one was worth the gas. And when you arrive take the train for children and adults, fish or go for a swim.
When you find it you'll also locate the Circle of Arts Theater. "Cozy" 5 Stars
A great location for an inexpensive (or free) day out. Landa Park is beautiful and displays the natural scenery of the area very well. There are many great places to take photographs (landscape or portraits); pets on leashes are also welcome. Landa Park also contains covered facilities and barbecue grills for family outings or picnics.

Children love it...."big kids" as well as "little kids"...for a ...

This is the most awseome place to get lost in. I live 45 minutes away and have been going to the new braunfels area all of my life. There is so much to do and see. Shopping, swimming, boating, golf, are some of the thing this area has to offer.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/15/07
This is an awesome park. The nature is wonderful. The spring fed water is gorgeous, crystal clear and beautiful. You can see the fish swimming in the crystal clear water. The ducks and geese are very friendly, able to be hand fed. The squirrels are even hand fed. Something different we saw was a Beaver like animal, with a rat looking long ...
