I have lived in California for the past 20 years and we are moving to Corpus Christi in February 07, I am really going to miss having a decent mall and all the stores I want. They need a Norstroms and Bananna Republic!

Padre staples mall is a joke. It has to be one of the most run down malls I have ever seen. Corpus Christi need a mills mall real bad. Than Corpus Christi will finally have a good mall people can talk about.

Another reviewer said they didn't understand how this mall has 4 stars...I agree. There are only a few other malls I've been to that I dislike more. Yes, PSM has all the requisite department stores, but none of the really great small stores that make up a good mall. The mall is small, has a limited selection of good stores, the food ...

then of course theres the regular Dillards, Macy's,JcPennys, Abercrombie, and American Eagle.
we just need more places to shop in corpus.

I love CC. Been going there since I was 10; Now 20 years later this mall looks the same!! (no! sorry!, back then at least we had the movie theatres) It´s so sad to see this mall has became a flee market. Nothing to do, nothing to see. The reason I keep going there are the memories, but I never put a step on either mall. I will keep going, but as far as shopping, I will continue doing it as for the past 9 years at LA, Dallas & Houston

There isn't much I like about this mall. It's old and desolate. The lack of selection has forced me to do all shopping online or during my occasional trips to San Antonio/Houston.
I have also travelled a lot and have seen malls all over the country. All are SIGNIFICANTLY better than this one. I would not bother shopping here.

I've lived in Corpus Christi all my life, and overall, Padre Staples Mall is pretty nice. It has a carousel, some "big name" stores, and a pretty good foodcourt. It's just that compared to other Texas malls (i.e. malls in San Antonio, Houston, etc.) it really doesn't have as many stores as it could, seeing how Corpus Christi ...

I think this mall needs a lot of improvement. It is really old and looks like a ghost town. I went into a Texas store and this white old man we rude. Probabley the rudest person i have ever come across in stores. It was really upseting especially b/c cause it was during christmas time. It is a good mall, but if you go...don't go into that store!

It's okish. I have seen better looking places and better selections. The two stores that I like better here are Hot Topic and Icing's. The Hot Topic here may be smaller but it is crammed with stuff and the Icing's here has a good selection.
