I live in Brownsville and the zoo here is very very dirty not worth coming and it's sad because alot of people waste their time and money in this zoo, so they should have it kept up, with clean water for the animals!!! really this zoo sucks big time!!!

On March 21st my family and I visisted Gladys Porter Zoo for the Dinosaur Exhibit. We all had a splendid time. The Dinosaur theme was very creative and a lot of fun, my kids had a blast. MY DAUGHTER AND I WENT ON HOLIDAY TO BROWNSVILLE AND ONE SUNDAY WHILST THERE WE DECIDED TO VISIT GLADYS PORTER ZOO. IT WAS MARVELLOUS!
WATCHING THE GORILLAS WAS A LOT OF FUN! THE
FLAMINGOS WERE A LOT SMALLER THAN I EXPECTED,BUT SO COLOURFUL WITH THEIR PINKY- RED FEATHERS.

My family and I took a trip to the Valley and decided to drop by the zoo for a few hours. We were all suprised by the quality of this place. It was very beautiful!!They have it so clean and it was very fun.I would recomend to others and just because Brownsville is a small city,doesn't mean it has a small zoo.It's better than the Houston Zoo!!And it was a good waste of money.
