Best Zoo for a family outing or school trip. We were lucky enough to be the only visitor, and it was amazing! Tree-shaded and relaxing we saw an african lion, white tiger, mountain lion, baby camel and all kinds of monkeys wanting to interact. Just the right size to leave you wanting to return rather than about to collapse.

i am impressed with the broad selection of species and the natural, conservation oriented and peaceful setting. the volunteers and staff are awesome; welcoming, friendly, and obviously dedicated to caring for the animals. i loved my time there!

Visiting this zoo was a great suprise. It doesn't look like much pulling up to the gate, but go in anyway. The eagle owl alone was worth the price of admission. I have visited many zoo's and haven't seen one. Although it is smaller than the Austin zoo, it has lot's of lemur charm as well as shade tree's. The kids will love the petting zoo.

This zoo is doing wonderful things with endangered species. They have succeeded in breeding some of these animals. The zoo also has an animal rescue program. its a great zoo and if you have any kids i will asure you that they will have a great time with the petting zoo. i have been there many times and can't get enough of it, everytime i go there is something new thats going on, i love it. great job to every one that works there!!!!!!!!
