The words "hidden gem" can get over used, but in the case of this place they are an understatement. We took two teenage girls there, any parent who has them knows what I am talking about, very hard to please at that age. They both had a blast, the cages are very well done with an incredible amount of animals in one place. The ...

Neat place, spring break
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/19/09
I agree with the previous writer, we must have been on the same day! Very friendly staff, clean cages and obviously well fed animals. Not too crowded but it was spring break so many places in pigeon forge did have more people than normal weekdays. Try to go on weekdays to avoid the saturday crowd.
we took my little girl about 3 weeks ago while we were on vacation during the week.there wasnt many people there are at all so we were a little afraid to go in but so glad we did. it is kinda small but it was the perfect size for my 18 month old. i didnt see any sick looking animals or anything and i did see a care taker tending to some of the ...
I do not know how anyone could give this "zoo" 5 stars. If you look at the dates they were a long time ago. Now the reviews are bad. We had the same horrible experience as the review by Heather. The place is dark and dingy and smelled so bad my husband could barely breath. This is not a rainforest and this is not a zoo. This is more like ...
We went yesterday to Rainforest Adventures and it was filthy and dirty. The water in the animals bowls were dirty and there were coachroaches running everywhere. We stepped on three just walking around the place. There were dead roaches in the snakes water bowls, and poop that had molded in the cages. The animals some had mange were poorly taken ...

Great family fun
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/05/09
My friends and me went to see all of the animals at Rainforest while we were partying in Gatlinburg. Amazing! We all really laughed at the birds swinging on their branches. They let us pet the porcupine and the lizards during the show, I have never seen anything as big as the porcupine, he is huge.
As avid Animal Planet fans we are constantly seeking the zoo no matter where we are. Knoxville zoo was over 50 miles away (round trip) from where we were staying in Sevierville so opted for RainForest Adventures. A little apprehensive at first we were really quite suprised at the quality and the quantity of animals. We talked with the guy that ...
I didn't think it was all that, but the guy there puts on a good show that kids, like my four year old enjoyed. They get to pet animals like a porcipine. But as far as seeing anything new I didnot.

We loved it
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/22/07
It was so neat to see all of the animals that they had. They had a good varitey of animals and repitles. The place was very clean. The people there were very nice. I am a teen and I loved it so I think that a little kid would love it too.
We loved it so much that if we ever go back to TN then we will go back to it again.
This was ok but not the greatest. Pretty small I thought but it was a great price. Make sure you sit in the front two rolls during the show by the way its at 1p.m. All the cages were very clean and the animals look great. Kids Loved it.
