My cousin sent me the 6 bottles of wine as a house warming gift. Three went down the drain so far, and the other three are sadly sitting in our pantry never touched. A bad idea for a gift, leaving the receiver wonder if the sender has no taste for wine or being cheap. I googled about the wine, expecting the bad reviews, and surprised to find some good reviews. Unbelievable.
My Husband and I are by no means wine aficionados, but we do know the difference between good wine and bad wine. Honestly, we've had better wines that we bought from drugstores for $5 a bottle.

Excellent wine tasting and tour. Better other winery tours I have been on. A great place to stop, visit, taste and definitely don't miss out on taking home bottles of the Blackberry wine.

Do yourself a favor, if you visit East Tennessee be sure to make time to visit this Winery. Very helpful staff and the wine is excellent. A wide variety for the palet. We'll be back!!!
The facts are...this is a wonderful place to visit! The atmosphere was so inviting, the people (staff) were friendly and helpful, the location is easy to access, and the wine is delicious!! I would definitely recommend Mountain Valley Vineyards as a "must" addition to a trip to Pigeon Forge.

To be succinct, don’t waste your time or put your taste buds at risk. We’re not wine snobs, we just like good wine. That is the reason we don’t recommend this place. There is something to be said about good, cheap wine. None of it applies here. We were staying at a wonderful bed and breakfast outside of Pigeon Forge. Being ...
