I have been to Dollywood several times ,but this will be my last time. The parking was $8.00 . It cost us $50.00 a piece to get in and the food was very high. Dolly was raised up very poor. I think she has forgotton this. There a lot of people would like to go , but afford it. A lot of the rides were closed that day , but the admission was the same.

5 STARS!!!

We love Dollywood! There are two parks we make sure to visit at least once a year and they are Dollywood & Disneyworld. Dollywood is extremely reasonable in cost, but you want to buy the season pass if you are going to be there for more then one day. The people are friendly and the food is great! It is a very heartwarming place & our whole family is returning this year for Christmas break! Can't wait!

False Reviews On Here!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/05/09
First of all, if you see a 5 star review on here it's probably Dollywood trying to save face. This place is the most expensive disappointment we have been to. After paying an entry ticket price of $224.00 for a family of 4, it starts with another $8.00 to park. Anything you want to do inside the gate is unreasonable in cost. We paid $46.00 for ...
Big fan of Dollywood and of Dolly we try to go to Dollywood at least once or maybe twice a month threw the warmer months and we also visit in the fall and of course during the Christmas season as well... We have visited several parks around the states and by far we can't get enough of Dollywood... I would highly recommend of course alllll the ...
PARK IS GREAT IF YOU HAVE SEASON TICKETS. IT PAYS FOR ITSELF IN A COUPLE OF VISITS.BE SURE TO BUY GOLD PASS IT HAS 20% OFF PURCHASES AND PAYS FOR PARKING- $ 8.00 PARKING-.IF CAN'T BUY SEASON TICKETS IT IS EXPENSIVE AND ENTERTAINMENT IS NOT THAT GREAT EXCEPT THE 50'S SHOW{EXCELLENT} RIDES ARE AVERAGE. TIP: YOU CAN ASK FOR ICE AND WATER WHICH IS FREE.TAKE IN A LARGE BAG AND BRING FOOD.
We visited in early June, taking along our son, daughter in law, and two grandchildren, who were visiting us from Costa Rica, where they are missionaries. About 3 PM the rides were closed down because of a threatened storm and our guests (we are season pass holders) were very disappointed. After talking to several people, I went and explained ...
We have been to numerous parks. Dollywood cost way too much money to have the poor quality of shows and attractions that it does. Most shows can only be seen every other day. We were expecting something on the level of Busch Gardens or Disney World as it bills itself but Dollywood is not even close. It does have lots of expensive shops and ...

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/27/09
The prices are outrageous after you pay $50 per person to get in!!!!! The entertainers sounded like dying cats----- The Tram drivers yelled at us very rudely also, once going in and once coming out!!!! I do love Dolly as an entertainer, but I HATE DOLLYWOOD!!!!!!

A Quaint Park that pleases the family
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/22/09
On a perfect day, everyone wants to go to the park. Traffic was horrendous. Pigeon Forge is a tourist trap to begin with, and driving into the park was an exercise in patience (to put it mildly). Take the back route from 411 down Veterans Way. We had to park in the last lot and wait 30 minutes for a 50 year old tram to pick us up. First ...

Perfect for ALL ages!!

We are heading back to Dollywood in two weeks for another visit. We have been to many theme parks including Disney, Williamsburg, Wild Adventures but DW offers a different type of theme park. Although there are plenty of rides for all ages and levels of thrill seekers there is also wonderful interactive wildlife, craftsmen, and shows featuring ...
