AVOID DOLLYWOOD! ----SHAME ON DOLLY PARTON!I dont normally complaign about anything because I try to have fun no matter what I do!!! BUT..... Dolly Parton....SHAME ON YOU FOR RIPPING PEOPLE OFF!!!!
This is the most overpriced tourist trap in Pigeon Forge!!!!.

GREAT VALUE FOR THE FUN!!!!I am in high school and we go every year with a large group of students (about 80) and we always have fun! There are many rides (especially the RIVER RAMPAGE) to have a blast on! Make sure to ride the water rides! As for the value, it's awesome for the money! OUR FAMILY TRADITIONI REALLY LIKED DOLLYWOOD FOR IT'S SMALLER HOMETOWN FEEL. NOT LIKE THE NATIONAL CHAINS WITH THEIR COMMERCIAL FEEL. WE GO BACK EVERY YEAR NOW FOR THE LAST 6 YEARS AND WE LOOK FORWARD TO OUR VISITS. My son wants to be a magician now!I recently took a trip to Dollywood with my husband and 2 kids, it was the first time i been to the park with my children. Overall we had a pretty good time. It was a bit over priced and the lines were pretty long, but not just on the rides; waiting to park our car, waiting to get on the tram, waiting to buy our tickets, waiting to get food, ...1 of 1 Yahoo! Above my expectationsI wasn't expecting a whole lot from Dollywood. We mostly went there for the kids, but we all had a really good time. It was a little chilly so we didn't ride any of the water rides. But we did get to ride the new Mystery Mine. We spent about 9 hours ther and the kids loved it. Everyone slepts well that night. we certainly will return one daywe liked the feel of American Country life. The souvenir shops were lovely, and we took interesting presents back home to England. The food was good and the whole place was clean and tidy. We were particularly impressed with the train ride. No dislikes at all. I always Love going to Dollywood!!!!The moment you walk into Dollywood you see real southern heritage. The music hits you head on and you keep going through themed areas that are always fun. The rides are wonderful, and the people are very nice. I recommend going during the Festival of Nations. I go every year with school during the festival and it is the most fun we have all year.
