I did live in Maryville, Tn. and attended "First Church" for a couple of years, and the people were very loving and kind and a top-quality group. I sincerely miss all of them, and pray for them each day.
The sermons were Bible-centered, but in away that instructed and did not blame. They were impowering and inspirational.
