Litton's has developed a reputation that no burger joint could ever live up to. The burger was above average, but in the end, it was just a burger. Included in the high price is the establishment's largely undeserved reputation. While the burger that I consumed was above average, there are several other places that I would rather eat a burger in Knoxville for a much more affordable rate, and without a forty minute wait.

Went during lunch on a Monday. Had tried once before but didn't want to wait. Was seated promptly at counter, which I think is a good thing to have at a lunch restaurant. I grew up in Knoxville. Barry Litton is a great friend and we have eaten at his restaurant many times. If you don't like the food at Littons, I have a suggestion. Eat somewhere else. The thousands of people who return time after time know a great meal when they taste one. We live in San Diego and I would fly into Knoxville from California just to eat at Littons. Its that good!

We drive in from Farragut, all we had been hearing was eat at Litton's. It was nothing special!!

the hamburgers are amazing and the workers are so welcoming and helpful! all of the food is made in house! the cookies are the best. It is family owned. They are there for their customers and actually care about you. Great family atmosphere

I am a local and have eaten at Litton's before. We decided to go there for a Saturday late lunch. We were seated in the very back of the restaurant. We were given a limited menu, where a hamburger with no cheese and no fries was priced at 7.99, a fish sandwich was 16.99, and a caesar salad was 9.99, and an order of onion rings was 7.99.

My family ate there and it was overcrowded... the food that we ordered was so so. Some of the order was wrong. Not sure I would go back there.

My husband has been addicted to Litton's for years. I'm not a big red-meat eater, but they do have a good cheeseburger and an excellent chicken salad sandwhich. Be prepared to wait, regardless of the day. And don't bother on a weekend unless you aren't too hungry and don't mind waiting an hour or more. There's a new ...

A Knoxville institution. One of the best burger & fries I have ever eaten! The desserts were a big ol' slice of heaven, as well!
