The only thing I did not like about this place was, in the parking lot a huge huge beehive.
As soon as I pulled into the parking lot I instantly fell in love with the park. It was so family friendly. It has a dog park off to the side, but dogs it looked as if dogs were welcomed everywhere as long as they were on a leash. It had great playground, and a walking/stroller trail. And huge grassy area's you could picnic or play ball.
the only down side i found to this park was it doesnt have hot water and not enough seating space for b day parties other than that we love to come here and ride bikes, blow bubbles, fly kites, play on the equiptment, and of course play in the sand. i have 5 children. ages 7,6,4,2, and 8 months and theres plenty to do and we can easily spend the whole day there. we love it and will come back over and over.

Beautiful jogging track/dog park!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/05/07
This is a beautiful but small park. Lots of open space to play ball with kids. Nice fenced in dog park, a welcome addition to any city. Nice playground for kids as well. Ample parking so far (until word gets out and more people visit). Love the walking/jogging path that is wide and paved. It is just a pleasant experience to be in this park!

great view

We loved the park! We appreciated the family atmosphere and especially the view of the mountains. The cleanliness and maintenance is excellent and definitely noticed right away. We would love to see the walking trail marked for distance to help encourage our children to maintain fitness and health. While the open grassy areas are wonderful, we would like to see more trees maybe close to the trail.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/14/06
My family (my husband, myself and our 4 boys--ages 3, 6, 6, and 8) are recent "transplants" out here in Johnson City and we would have to say that Willow Springs Park is just one of the best "golden nuggets" in the city! It is very, very clean with bathrooms available year-round and enough room for everyone to do what they ...

Huge, very clean park with open grassy areas great for picknicking and playing or sunning with a view of the mountains. Lots of paved and unpaved walking trails as well as volleyball and basketball courts. There are three different playground equipment sets based on age level. There are some benches spaced throughout the park and a small covered ...
