We visited Gatlinburg and decided the first night just to walk around and do whatever. Don't make the mistake of wasting your money on this attraction...and I use the word attraction very loosely!!
After reading the reviews here, I considered this a "Must Do" and I have to say, it was just as great as the reviewers said it would be. This thing is so cheesy, it's hilarious. I loved it. I still laugh every time I think about my ride on "Earthquake". If you think half the fun of a vacation is telling your friends ...
I am not one to write bad reviews, but after they stole my hard earned money for that lame of a ride, I am. The outside is amazing, it shows the building shaking and doing all sorts of stuff. You hear people screaming, but it has to be a recording. You finally get to go in and they open the door and then you enter and sit down. You move up and down ...
Everything everyone is saying is true. This was the most boring 3-5 minutes of my entire life and not worth the money spent. They should close the place down! Total scam! Don't waste your time or money!
As everyone has already mentioned... this was the biggest waste of money! We go to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge every Christmas. After passing by this attraction after 10 years, we decided to ride it. The cost was outrageous. The ride only lasted 2-3 minutes and was lame. The ride is old and falling apart. It should be shut down. The owners should ...
This place has been around for years. I have been to Gatlinburg many times. This ride was a waste of money 20 years ago and it is still a waste of money
There are good attractions in Gatlinburg that are fun and enjoyable. This is not one of them. Expecting a ride similar to Universal Studios Earthquake we went on this ride. Its short, expensive, and the effects are lame at best. The owners of this ride should be put in prison for theft! STAY AWAY-You've been warned.
This in my opion was so pathetic. My husband and I really looked forward to this and was extremely disappointed. The out side of it looks better then the inside. They put you in a train looking ride. You slowly move forward and backward a couple times, they have a recording of a guy saying stuff about the earthquake, they blow a little fog and ...
Our kids were so excited to go on this ride... Then we got on... It's pretty sad when a 6 yr old isn't having fun on a ride. Outrageous prices made it even worse. I would never recommend this to anyone and i will go tell people in line how awful it is the next time we are there!!
