i have been to gatlinburg 4 times and going back in 2 months and we always eat at the fox and the parrot. wonderful food and great beer. cant wait to get back to it
Though the service could be a little quicker, I found this place to be a jewel in the Smokies. I loved the laid back , at home feel. After filling my belly, I almost went to take a nap on the soffa in front of the big screen.. I had the sheperd's pie and it was great. I tried several new beers and liked most of them. Found other patrons to be ...
Upon reading others input, I can't help but wonder why they chose this establishment if they are more the Applebee's type or more for same ole humdrum eatery. This restaurant has it's own personality and it DOES appear rustic, but that's cool in my opinion. Very laid back, very relaxing, very casual. Sure the chairs are mismatched ...
I wasted enough time going to this place and will not waste anymore time on this review. I dont post many reveiws even when unhappy. However, take my advice and what seems to be many others on this site. Dont Go! I was just happy we did not get sick or catch something in this rat hole.

I found this restaurant on a website about the Arts and Crafts community and couldn't wait to try it out. We got to the restaurant about 1:45 and while I was a little shocked at its disheveled appearance, decided to be adventurous and try it anyway. An old English Pub in the Hills

It's a neat find off the beaten path. It's a great change from your standard franchise place in the Gatlinburg area. Food was great and a nice place to talk with the local folks. You have to hunt a little to find it.Just a neat place to look, explore, and enjoy.

They have wonderful food, I personally had beer battered fish and real chips. Not french fries, not lays, but hand cut crispy chips. they also have something called beer bread which is what it sounds like, bread with beer ...

dirty, beer at least 18 months out of date, horrid....any taco bell would be a better choice, even a taco bell in a tourist area.

A change of pace for Gatlinburg
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/21/04
This out of the way "Pub" is a little less aesthetically pleasing then you might want. Old mismatched tables and chairs with plain tablecloths fill a room with unfinished wood floors, neon beer signs, soccer/rugby paraphernalia and a big screen TV. But don't let this stop you from visiting.
The beer selection is second to ...
