Just breathe and enjoy nature

I love the Cherokee National Forest for its natural beauty. Trees, mountains, streams and wildlife fill the expansive park. If you enjoy peace and quiet along with birds and other forest sounds this is where you want to be. The air is crisp and fresh. Hiking is pure joy. Even if you only have a very short time for relaxation this would be a good day trip if you are in the area.

Beautiful drive up US64 into mountains during Fall along the Ocoee River. Be sure to make a visit to Ocoee Whitewater Center while you are there whether you are rafter or not. Great manmade rafting center but is very natural looking. Made the drive from Cleveland to Ducktown and just beautiful.
