Pretty spectacular sight, the underground lake is slowly filling back up due to the rise in the water table. The rainbow fish that were introduced into the lake were interesting to hear about. Look at the one in the Gift shop, just wished you could catch that one. Nice park to visit, grounds were neat and tidy. Everyone is very friendly and will ...

  • Overnight "Wild Cave Tour"
    By S, 09/01/09
We did the overnight "Wild Cave Tour" and it was great. It was good exposure to overnight spelunking without the danger. The caving was moderate and we slept in complete darkness.

Really cool. Will do it again!

  • Enjoyed it
    By who knew, 09/01/09
My family and I really enjoyed this trip. The boat tour was even nice. The rainbow trout were huge! I think it was worth the money. I would recommend you go if you are in the area.
The only thing is, try not to take a stroller. Some parts of the tour has inclines which makes it difficult to manuver the stroller. Other than that, wear comfortable shoes and enjoy!

  • Interesting, but nothing amazing.
    By Stacy, 09/01/09
My husband and I stopped by the Lost Sea on our way home from a trip. It was fairly cheap, the caves are neat, and being in a boat in a dark cave is kind of creepy-cool. The information given by the guide is not very interesting. It's a long (a good bit of uphill) walk and the lake smells bad, like a public restroom (I had to cover my nose). It's a fair value, probably good for school-age kids.

It was pretty amazing, besides the smell, and long walk, it was fun.

    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/31/09
This may have been a once in a lifetime stop for my family I pushed a double stroller down to the sea and back to the exit with my two and three year old sons and all of my wifes STUFF in it. Hard ? yes . Worth it ? YES . A venture that I will never forget and we have the family picture hanging in our home to remind us of a place and time that was ...

  • Don't Waste Your MONEY!
    By Sonya, 04/15/09
We visted here July 2008. It was pitch black and we could not see anything. The website pix must have been taken with special lighting that isn't available for the tours. Spend your money elsewhere. We wish we had!

  • Not a tourist trap
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/17/08
As most all the others have reported, This is a great family outing. The trip in and out of the cave is about an hour. The climb back to the surface is steep and is not for everyone. I have had total knee replacement surgery and my traveling companion has breathing problems. We made it just fine. If you use an inhaler, be sure and take it with you. ...

  • This cave is worth the trip!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/05/07
My husband had visited the Lost Sea many, many years ago but this was my first visit. Be prepared to walk alot. The cave itself is so intreging that you do not notice how much you are walking until its time to walk back to the entrance. The ascent back up from the boat ride is not for everyone. If you have trouble with steep hills, do not go on ...
