We love the peacefulness we found at Bear Butte State Park. We loved hiking up the Butte, and seeing the Buffalo. We are looking forward to exploring the Butte in the snow this November.

We visited Bear Butte in May. It's really a lone mountain, not a butte, that's very sacred to the Lakota. It's a beautiful, quiet place.
