It has been closed alll summer to replace al the greens. It's in the best shape I've seen since the 5 years of playing there.

Willbrook just opened after being closed all summer to redo the greens. They put in the Tif-Eagle Bermuda. The course was spectacular and the price is reasonable.

We fell in love with the course as we were driving up to the stately clubhouse. The atmosphere was tremendous the course was beautiful and fair and the staff was second to none, friendly and genuine.

Not worth $33

Played summer 2005. Every green was 50% sand or more. Putting skills didn't come into play on any hole. Sand traps hard as rocks. My playing partner said he was thinking about getting a refund after the first hole. All the ratings you read about must be from years ago.
I've played almost all the courses along the Grand Strand and this is one of the best courses for the money. The lay out is traditional and the conditions of the course are like many others in the area. What stands out is the reasonable price.

History Lesson

A very quite uncrowded course. The back nine on is fantastic, built on the old slave quarters grounds of the plantation. Historical landmarks preserved all around the course. Well worth the money.
