When you need a break from boring courses, this is the place. Not one boring hole out there and if your game starts to fall apart, the scenery is spectacular. I am a high handicapper, but that didn't make this less enjoyable. Alligators usually around holes #3, 4,7, and maybe others I didn't see. Herons, spoonbills, egrets, bald eagles, ...

We play at Charleston National every time we visit the area. We are very committed to golf and enjoy a variety of courses. This course is scenic, interesting and tests your skills. It is suitable for both my wife and myself.
The staff has always been great and make ours visits memorable.

My friends and I used to play the course but do not anymore. We are not pros playing the US open. The pin placements are unfair and are no fun. Two feet from the edge and the hole on a hill are just plain stupid. The pins should be in the center or around the center of the greens. It slows up play for if you go for the pin you are off the Green and ...

Course's condition was sub-par. The only thing worse than the course condition was the attitude of the staff. In one of the most beautiful areas in America is the worst service in the world.

Course was excellent, however, greens where not in the best of condition, recently spiked. Other than that a very pleasant round of golf, probably the best I have played in mount pleasant for price and quality of course.
