I didn't know anything about the signifigance of Ninety-Six to the American Revolution until I visited this site. It's a good example of how the War for Independence was fought in the "back country".
The park is well landscaped and maintained. Especially interesting are the remains of the "Star Fort" used by loyalists to defend the village of Ninety-Six and the reconstructed trenches and sniper tower.
