Has an awful ot of nice exhibits for such a small city. I esecially like the reptiles exhibits. It offers a nice shady stroll. Perfect for those spring and fall afternoons.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The animals were were great. It is a bit small. My mom and I had fun and got some great shots of the animals. When we went they were doing some remodeling cant wait to see the job done.Fun for all.

I loved this place i am from vermont and we dont have zoos to close to hear so when we went to flordia we stopped there on our way back home it was such a fun place the baby orangutan was so cute i would recommend this to everyone it was so wonderfull and it was defintly worth the time and money i would defintly go back

Again, Greenville Zoo is a very clean, well cared for zoo... but with the few animals they have, keeping the place maintained is a must... it's one of the attractions itself!
I purchased the anual pass in order to have a place to take my two year old niece a few times a week without dealing with the "big kids" in Cleveland park, while having a good place to exercise. As another poster mentioned, the hills will kick your butt!

This is a small zoo. However,it is well mantained. There were no real problems with hills. My wife has a walking problem and she got around fine. There are stroller routes that are less hilly. Of all the zoos we've toured in South Carolina, this one has been the best we've seen. Worth the trip to Greenville.

Pro:Clean and well maintained. Nicely shaded with plenty of benches to relax on. Good rest rooms. A good sampling of birds,and animals plus reptiles.
Con: Small for the entrance fee of $5. Should be reduced to $3 for what you get. It takes about 1 hr to see the whole place at a casual pace.

It is a nice "little" local zoo. I would not want to travel much distance to visit it, but it is a nice 1/2 day adventure. The terrain is very hilly and may be difficult for people with walking disabilities.

Way too small. Spent $8 to feed animals and couldnt feed anything but few birds.. Rest of the animals were on special diets..It was a waste of money. I bought memebership before I wewnt in but now I drive to columbia to use passes.
