A hidden treasureWhat a hidden treasure is here! Having lived in the area all of my life, I only came to visit Kilgore/Lewis House in June 08. What a treat to see the gardens in the midst of an event! And then to enter the historic home and feel teh time change as you turn the knob! Take time to see what is in your own backyard, friends!OVERALLAtmosphere

so this is what it was like in 1836?FRIENDLY staff--and they took you on a complete tour of the house--built in 1836--hard to imagine how they lived then.
