It's really peaceful and beautiful, but there is little to see after the Spring flowers are done blooming. We went on our honeymoon and boy is it hot and humid and not much to see for $10 we could have walked in our own woods. But I am sure it's great in April and May. We saw a lot of familes with kids and they were hot and bored and upset about nothing to see except maybe a turtle.
This item should be changed to read "New Hope, PA 18938". It is messing up trip planning when added to a trip because it puts the person in the wrong town for the day. Other wise it's great place and I've visited it regularly for many years.

Relaxing and Beautiful

We read the previos reviews when planning our trip last month and decided to include the preserve on our intinary. Well, they were right on the money, this place is very beautiful and peaceful with many flowers and birds. We had a picnic lunch at the pavilion at the entrance and then walked several trails, then visited the lovely gift shop. Everyone was nice and helpful. We will bring our friends with us on the next trip. Do not forget a camera.

Romantic Getaway
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/17/06
As newlyweds we had three days to spend in New Hope. After two days of shopping we needed a change. Th women at the Tourist Information Center recommended the Wildflower Preserve a nice option. We spent three hours walking, including a free tour a really beautiful oasis. There were places to rest and the peacefulness and babbling brooks allowed us to rest and enjoy nature and celebrate our new life. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Place, recommended for others
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/03/06
This place was peaceful and beautiful. My family really enjoyed our day. We planned on stopping here for an hour and stayed for three and the kids left happy. The day we were there we had a free tour and my two sons attended a short educational program. It is a well maintained site and the employees were great. The price was $16 for four of us. What a bargain. Remeber your camera.

The most beautiful garden on earth
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/28/06
This place is so peaceful and natural. You could drive right by it. I only had to pay $5 for hours of beauty and peace. I will bring my nieces here on my next trip. There are educational events for alland for kids. I took a free tour at 2pm. with a great guide and left feeling at peace and educated.
The preserve actually does preserve indiginous wildflowers, many of which are endangered and not often seen. The trails are well kept and lead through beautiful scenery. Bring your camera, or if you're a painter, bring your paints. Depending on the time of year, different flowers are in bloom, so stop by the center for a list of what to ...
