We were so excited about this ghost tour. We had heard it was the by far the best ghost tour in town. I have to say we were sorely dissappointed. It wasn't scary a bit and there was a lot of walking through town, however at the end of the tour we had an eerie experience. The tour guide couldn't keep his lantern lit and couldn't tell a ...
We (four adults in their 50's) took the Sleepy Hollow Walking Ghost tour Baltimore/High Street with Dominic as our guide. We never saw Baltimore or High St. and barely walked. We started out sitting in an area just behind where we bought our tickets, and sat there for a half an hour while our guide told us that he didn't believe any of ...
We never knew what a ghost tour was exactly, but decided to take one. We went on the Civil War Hauntings tour on Steinwher Ave. (Make sure you take that one) They offered free ghost finders to their guest. The women said she would make us a professional ghost hunter. We had about 7 friends along with us and it sounded like it might be fun. It ...
We just finished a weekend at Gettysburg and the ghost tour was the highlight of our trip. Our guide, Ben, was knowledgeable and entertaining and even related his own personal experiences with Gettysburg ghosts. He was very good at evoking vivid images of the heat of the battle and the aftermath that the citizens had to deal with, and the ...
We went on the Baltimore Street Tour, and wished we hadn't. It was so boring, all we did was walk around the streets and stand in front of buildings listening to boring stories. Most of the time the stories weren't even about the building we were standing in front of. Half the stories were about some kid that took the tour and got scared. I ...
the tour was horrible. the guide was horrible, but the funniest thing was as he led us thru alleys in gettysburg, other people on the tour were lingering in the back of the group and when given the opportunity would leave the tour. there was a family of three, mom, dad and a small child, who actually escaped and ran down a side alley to get away ...
The Haunted Gettysburg ghost tour was a total waste of time and money. The guide was boring, the stories were boring, it was not in anyway as advertised. We only walked in alleys and parking lots, heard about the stories of TOURISTS and hauntings at the Holiday Inn and Travelodge! If you like ghost tours, choose one of the other companies. Haunted Gettysburg is AWFUL!!
We took the Seminary Ridge tour this weekend and left before it was over. The weather was hot and muggy which made listening to the guide babble on about nothing for 45 minutes seem like torture.
It felt more like a lecture about opening your mind to spirits. I'm sure the half dozen kids on the tour would have much rather been sitting in ...
We as a group disliked this tour because they took us in front of two buildings and a hotel parking lot and made up a few ghost stories. They also gave us ghost detectors that picked up EMF which detects electricity coming from power lines above the entire tour. It was the worst tour/entertainment that we ever saw.
