  • I will never try your business again
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/21/09
I placed an order for June 27, 2009 for my parents to ride the mystery dinner train. I ordered these and paid for these 2 tickets on January 22, 2009, received confirmation, only to try to send to my sisters and find out you are closed for the year 2009 in Gettysburg, yet my credit card does not show a refund. How fair is this to not inform your ...

  • Out of business!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/02/09
I have visited this business many times in the past. It was a good train ride. Everything was nice. In 2008 it looked like the cars had come out of the trash bin and nothing had been taken care of. My familys last trip was horrible! Very unorganized and a host that read from a script. Very disappointed. We were also excited to ride the double deck car because we read a review on here about it being used. It was not on the train!!!

  • On the way AGAIN
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/16/08
Awesome open car, we sat on the upper deck. Very informative and knowledgeable conductor. Beautiful scenery. Lot of history if one listens. Everyone friendly. But then it has normally been my experience that ones own attitude contributes to the perception.

  • Ask for a safe ride
    By bvz, 07/15/08
Enjoyable ride but ask whether the safety issues with the GM have been resolved. Also the equipment needs a lot of work. The generator car has twice caught fire. The GM as engineer has proceeded through road crossings where the crossing signal lights were not working without placing the required flagman on the ground.

  • Worst Ever!
    By Randy, 07/07/08
It was just a terrible experience. I paid 76 dollars for my family to take a one hour ghost train ride that wasn't worth 7 dollars. It had been raining and there was a mist in the air. And as soon as the train started to pull out, water ran in from the light fixture above me and drenched me with water. The story teller's microphone kept ...

  • Rip-off
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/27/08
I purchased tickets as an anniversary gift for my parents when they visited from out of town. The website promised a "scenic excursion...beautiful countryside...local history," etc. It was rather disappointing to spend over 90.00 on tickets and then spend the entire ride wondering when we were going to see anything other than glimpses of ...

  • Really Nice Ride
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/09/08
I saw the reviews, took my family n the Santa Train. It was really nice. I saw from the reviews that there was alot of trash and junk. They must have cleaned up the Railroad yards and stuff.

Staff at ticket office was nice. The employee's that operated the train was great. They took us around and showed us the engine and the cars. They made up for the ticket office

  • It is terrible
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/06/07
This is the worst expereince ever.. The "scenic' train ride is not scenic at all unless you like parking lots, trash, the back of people's ugly yards, and lookign thru scrathced windows.

The ticket lad y was not friendly at all either.

What a waste of 33 dollars and 2 hours.. Ther eis NOTHING scenic about it. Lots of trash, industrial pipes, ugly back yards, and prking lots.. DON"T waste your $$.

  • waste of money
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/16/07
The windows on the train were so scratched up you couldn't see out them. We booked the "ghost train". His stories were so unbelievable they were funny! The speakers kept breaking up and the train whistle interruped his talking as well. They stopped twice to play us a tape of a "supposed" spirit sound. The stop was next to ...
