for the seven or eight bucks it was per person to get in the whole place is the size of a two car garage, dark an dirty with no really interesting fish or otherwise. Filled with sea bass and otherwise ugly and boring bottom fish that you go fishing for for free. the seals are cooped up in this tiny seal bathtub and for a buck you can give them a ...
Me and my son love the Seaside aquarium and vist every time we are in the area. Although it is small, it is charming and interactive. The boardwalk location can't be beat, and it is a wonderful family activity.

We'll Never Go Back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/20/07
The Seaside Aquarium is small, dark and dirty. We stayed about 10 minutes and were left feeling ripped off for the money we spent and sad for the sea life living in such terrible tanks. It was awful.

Seaside Aquarium-yes
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/13/06
I really like the idea of a Privatley owned Aquarium becuse it is so much easyer to talk to the employees. We found the Aquarium smaller that the big monsters but was much nicer. We loved feeding the seals and watching them perform for us. Great place!

Sorry to hear about Victor
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/31/06
This was a very nice little aquarium. Informative descriptions and write ups on the displays were interesting. The seals are great. Some of the displays were uncleaned with dead fish in them. This was a bit strange.

Almost as good as Oregon Coast Aquarium
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/30/06
The place may be small but you get a lot of bang out of your buck. It is quaint and has a lot of hands on for the kids and grown ups alike. The seals are entertaining. All of the other tanks are small but interesting and you can learn alot here. A definite must see.

Made us Sick
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/20/05
I would expect an "aquarium" to be decent. But I am disgusted that the Seaside Aquarium stays in business. I visited with my parents, my wife, and my two children (1 and 3 years old). When we left we all felt sick.
When you walk in, the first thing is a seal tank/cage. There were about 25 seals in a shallow (2-3 feet deep) tank ...

Avoid this aquarium
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/26/05
Visiting the Seaside Aquarium was the biggest disappointment of visiting Seaside. Compared to the Seattle Aquarium, this one is puny. The only fun part was feeding the seals, for which it is apparently famous.
The rest of the aquarium is dingy looking. It looks to be built of old cedar planks of the gray, weathered look. The tanks where the various sea life resides are rather small and some of the descriptions are difficult to read.
