Very nicely done museum. Big city museum quality in this small city. An excellent place to visit, especially when it's raining outside. Your ticket also allows you to enter the Columbia lighthouse boat docked outside.

It was good

It was awesome i never really liked that kind of thing but for Astoria it was a good musuem i got a tour on the Columbia ship my cousins grand father personally made a dent on the side of it while trying to fix it i also got to take a very nice tour on a Coast gaurd that was being used!
I have been to several of the great museums of the world, and would place the Columbia River Maritime Museum among the best. Other museums have a broader subject matter than this one, but this museum does a thorough and immensely interesting treatment of life on the Columbia River and particularly the lives of those who made their living through fishing and commerce thereon.
