The Ship Inn is the best place for seafood in Astoria. Portions are very generous and I've never been served anything that was freezer burned. The location and atmosphere are perfect for a relaxed meal on the river. If you can only eat at one place on your visit, this is it!

This is a terrific restaurant located right on the Columbia River. You have an excellent view of the river and any ships, boats or the occasional sea lion. They have the best seafood in town. They get crowded, especially on the weekends, so you'll want to arrive early, if possible. Enjoy!
