I served this wine at my wedding back in 2001. This winery had some excellent wines and a great reputation at that time. Since than i had bought wine there every year since. Apparently the winery changed ownership along the line somewhere. WINE IS NOW CRAP IF YOU CAN EVEN GET IT... He swindled me out of over $225... DO NOT BUY

Bought a case of mixed singles in 2003. Absolutely fabulous then - the pinot grigio was the best I'd ever had. We were back in October 2008 to buy another mixed case. It is now October 2009 and no wine, no response, no calls, no replies to e-mails. Very sad.

Like the others who have commented, I ordered a case of wine last Sept. and gotten no wine buts lots of run-around since. I reported it to the BBB and their investigation was closed because of no response by Mr. Kodak, the owner, or by anyone else. My guess is it's a deliberate scam and I'm out over 200 bucks. I've been buying a lot of wine at a lot of places for years and this is the first time anything like this has
happened.

Over a year ago we ordered some wine. Never got it. Called in after 3 months to inquire why we hadn't recieved it yet. The vintner was dismissive, rude, and insulting on the call. Called 6 months later, no wine. Now they aren't even answering their phones.

Long story short...I paid for half a case in August of 2008 and was told it would be delivered in October (this should sound familiar if you have read the reviews below). In December when nothing had arrived, I called and left two messages with no return calls. Emailed twice as well, no response. Last month my wife filed a claim with the Better ...

We ordered a case of wine in July 2008, we have called several times no one has call us back! We bough a case over two years ago and have never had a problem. I think we have been taken for a ride.

Same as the last 2 reviewers. I visited in July 2007 and have yet to receive my wine. Purchased a bottle of Shakespeare’s Love and was saving for a special occasion. My girlfriend and I bought a new house (PERFECT TIME) popped the cork and VINEGAR!!!!!!!!!!

I am not letting up as I don't like to be taken for a ride. SCREWED WITH THE WRONG PERSON!!!!!!

Stopped by in early September while at the Shakespeare festival, took home a case of Cab and ordered and paid for a case of Merlot, which we were told would arrive by UPS sometime late October. October comes and goes with no delivery, so the missus calls in mid-November and the owner/manager/whomever seemed a little ...

The Ashland Vineyards and Winery apparently changed hands early in 2007 and the quality and service seem to have suffered under the new management. We are still struggling to get a case of wine paid for in July 2007 shipped to us four months later. A number of bottles from a case (1999 Cab and Merlot) we went home with have been undrinkable while other have been excellent. Buyer beware.
