Our dinner at this cafe was a disaster. The cafe reeked of some floral incense or perfume -- every bite of our food tasted like room deodorizer. Service ranged from indifferent to rude; we did not feel welcomed. Perhaps a smile or two from the wait staff would be in order. Lastly, one of our party ended up very ill after eating the scallops at dinner.

I have lived in Ashland 20 years and have frequented Lela's many times in the past 3 years. Last night we dined there, first time in about a month. I was shocked!
