I grew up in Foraker and went to
business college in Ponca City,
I have been in the Marland Manison
and it is beautiful. I am now
so proud to say I live in Marrietta,
Ok and we just built a church and
in the church are the stained glass
windows from the chapel and it means
so much to me. The picture in the
paper I have kept copies as to show
my children and grandchildren. I
am proud to say I'm an Okie.

I loved everything about this historical castle. It is so stately and breathtakingly beautiful. I enjoyed hearing the history of how this place was built and the tragedy of how it was lost. I live in Newkirk Oklahoma just north of Ponca about 15 miles. I have been at the Mansion several times, But I have never been inside of the Mansion. But I do know that the outside and the yard area is magnificent. I can not believe what the inside must look llike. The grounds around the mansion are wonderful. Hopefully I will get to explore the mansion soon. But just the pond and the yard area is worth looking at.
