  • IT SUCKED
    By Levi, 10/22/09
I visited the park with my twin grandchildren, age 6, on June 19,2009. We were cautioned when entering the park and beginning our drive through to not roll down the windows in order to feed the animals by hand--that some of them will bite. This scared my little grandson, and he was very nervous whenever I did roll down the window to throw the food ...

  • We liked it...

My friend and I took our 6 year old sons to Arbuckle Wilderness today. We had a blast! The placed was really busy. We have been there several times and it seemed much more kept up and busy. There could have been a bigger variety of animals but there were a large quantity of the ones they had.

They recently added sign to describe the different ...

  • "Hundreds of exotic animals" Where?
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/27/09
Very hot dirty place, sad to see animals that appear to be in need of medical care, would not go back even if I was paid to attend. Needs renovation and a clean up.

  • great attraction
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/09/08
This place is great for people from metro locations that don't get up close and personal with animals very often. I live 2 hours from Arbuckle Wilderness, and it's under new ownership, since the change, the new owners have started to renovate, and rejuvenate the park with much needed repairs and upgrades. it's a blast to see all the exotic animals, and it's close to Turner Falls for cooling down when you're done.

  • Arbuckle Wilderness
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/09/08
We went to Arbuckle Wilderness yesterday for the day. The heat is very bad in OK, so you must plan on getting to the park when they open at 9:00 a.m. or close to it to see the animals come out on the drive thru. Have plenty of food as they'll eat it all. Giraffes, Rhino, Tiger and some others are behind fences. The drive thru was fun, but ...

  • Walk through park
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/12/08
Arbuckle Wilderness looks really great from the outside and the gift shop is nice also.
We did not go on the drive-thru but we went to the walk-thru petting zoo area with the go-carts and bumper boats. The zoo area appeared to be in a state of re-model and not yet ready for summer business. It was very sad to see some animals with dirty or no ...

  • Fun for All
    By Melissa, 07/28/07
I have been to other drive through wildernesses before but I have to say this one was better. The adults and kids loved feeding the animals and riding the go carts. There is a snack bar in case you get hungry, a walk through zoo and rides. This was a great trip well worth the drive and price.
