Nice zoo, nasty greetingZoo is well kept and clean. Surpisingly large with a lot of animals. The older gray haired woman at the door (must be an owner because I don't know who would hire her) was nasty and cold. The zoo and Its HistoryThe original Tote-Em-In-Zoo was owned by the Tregembo family. It was a place where the animals were cared for and enjoyed by many. Sad, Sad, SadThis place is just sad, the animals seem miserable, listless and lifeless. One monkey had a gruesome infection. I felt terrible for them; there is no attempt to create natural habitats. This place will give you nightmaresAnimals are kept in tiny cages. They look miserable, and barely move. They just look at you with such sadness. I can't even believe this place is legal. Nice zooTote-em-in Zoo is now called the Tregembo Animal Park. When it changed names it became a really nice zoo. If you love animals then this is the place to go. They sell animal feed at the entrance and you are allowed to feed everything from goats and horses to monkeys and bears. grea place!!Great place to take kids. I've been going since I was little and I still love to go. I take friends there just to experience the place. Okay I have a problem with that last reviewTote-Em-In-Zoo was the first zoo I ever went to when I was a kid. The animals there are not abused and have surprisingly large cages or large turn out areas for you to see them. Although it was bought out and had it's name changed to Tregemboro Animal Park it still has the same great atmosphere and quality. I have enjoyed this place for a long ...8 of 8 Yahoo! Tote Em In Zoo-When I was a KidWhen I was a kid we went to Tote Em In Zoo. I remember a monkey, I think his name was Charlie. We would throw him a peanut and he would throw it back at us. This went on for about four or five throws. They also had an elephant out front with an Indian. I really enjoyed my trip there and am planning on going back this summer, 2004.
