THis place is really easy to find in Wilmington...I was a little skeptical but once you get in there and walk the Garden Tour....ohhh MY GOSH !! It is the most beautiful place to see...it offers greek and italian scenry...and swamps, piers, huge beautiful tree...just a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the day !!! LOVED IT !

I used to watch Dawsons Creek-one episode had Airlie Gardens in it. I tracked it down, and found out it was Airlie. So our family has now gone 3 times. Its such a nice, relaxing walk among live oaks, azaleas, spanish moss, etc. The fountain is by far the best, most beautiful part of the gardens. You can be completely lost in thought, and enjoy every second of it!!!

I grew up in Wilmington. I moved away 23 years ago but I still go back to see family and I still love to go to all of the older places I went to as a child. There are alot of new things to do and places to go and I love finding them when I go back

Swans, azalea, spanish moss, little white chapel, lake, huge live oaks, near the sea, wonderful for strolling, for old and young and lovers and families.
