My husband and I love going on trips and exploring ships of any size. We have been to many! US.North Carolina is one of the best we have ever seen. It is easy to explore and it does not take as long as some of the others we have been on. Like many ships this is not handicapped accessable there are latters to climb and door ways to walk over. ...

Over 1000 WWII vets die each day. This ship is a testiment to the great sacrafice these men and women gave over 60 years ago. Take you kids and help them learn what our government schools are afraid to teach them. We fought, we died so others could live in freedom.

My family loved the battleship. I have one son who is five. He loved it. The ship has three levels, he only would go on the deck so I dont know what the upstairs or downstairs was like. I recommend others to visit this ship it was great. The gift shop was wonderful and BIG. The battleship was worth the time and money.

We toured the North Carolina on a warm June summer day in 2006.My father served in the navy during WW2 and now I know what the conditions aboard ship were like for all the men. There is no ac like we know it and the sleeping quarters were cramped. The main guns are gigantic as are the anchors, which one is on the deck forward of gun turret #1.The ship looks as if she can go to sea at moments notice.Simply amazing!!
I have been on the battleship many times and always seem to find something new each time. For those of you who haven't seen the night show you have missed something awsome. They don't do it anymore but it would give me chills every time I would see the show. The whole ship would come to life without a person on board. I wish they would ...

Well worth a visit
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/29/07
The Battleship was so good and the first time we’ve been able to walk round a ship of this type. When you see the ship from a distance you don’t understand how big it is until you board it. The mian decks are massive, there is no guided tour it’s all self guide but it does have good signs to point you in the right direction. If ...

It was a exciting day for my 2yr old son...he enjoyed being on a ship and bring able to run freely...
but there wasn't much to see it's a empty battle ship...
but it was a cheap price and my son enjoyed it so i would go again
I really liked this visit. It was alot of fun and my husband really enjoyed. It was very hot in September and there are a lot of steep stairs. It is worth the time though.
