We went last fall. We have never spent such a great time. We listened to the music and just watched. Great music, wonderful dancing, relaxed atmosphere. Everyone on the dance floor was having a great time. We plan to go back this fall. Hope they are open the next to the last weekend in October because that is the only time we will be able to make it.

Well for starters I was born a dancer. I took clogging lessons for close to 10 years in Whiteville, NC. My clogging team (ABC Cloggers) won numerous dance competitions held at the Stompin' Grounds in Maggie Valley. The staff was always helpful & very supportive! I loved the mountains as a little girl growing up, so being able to enjoy the most two things that made me happy at once was true memories i'll never forget!

Great place, I was there for the Folk Moot also. We were ready and in uniform when we arrived as groups should be.(Per the negativ complaint)

I had a great time at the stompin grounds. My entire family loved the show. Anyone who loves good music and clean fun should give this place a try.The price for admission was cheap and also the refreshments.
