It's a great place to get away from town for walking, especially with your dog - my dog loves it there. The main trails are nice and wide with narrower, more rugged trails braching off the main trail. You can vary the length of your walk up to an hour and a half without too much backtracking. If you are looking for relaxation away from the hustle and bustle a nice quiet stroll through the park is ideal. And unless you are fishing or in the new aquarium it is free.
Don't let the title fool you, River Park North is not very exciting. There are a few ponds and a vast stretch of woods, but the scenery is lackluster and the hike is unchallenging. It is free, though!
