I recently went with my husband and 16 mo old son. We had so much fun! It is very peaceful and after buying the large bucket of bread for a dollar we were able to go for a leisurely walk by ourselves. My son loved Ben the Bear even though he called him "Dog" actually he called everything that! haha he was also able to feed a goat and a ...

We went to Jambbas when visiting my sister at Ft. Brag. At first it started out badly because I locked my keys in the car. The owner was very nice and tried to help. We were lucky to have some one stop by who was able to unlock my car for us. The kids (ages 3 & 6) loved it. There were goats, cows, a camel, llamas, ducks, geese, deer, elk, ...

I went to Jambbas Ranch today with my children and husband. It is a really fun and interesting place where you can feed animals and take a nice stroll. The workers/owners of the ranch are extremely friendly. I really enjoyed myself and my kids had a blast.
This place has a derelict atmosphere. From the dust covered items in the "welcome area" to the large bear in a cage far too small for an animal of that size. You do get a bucket of bread for $1 and the animals will eat right out of your hand and are pretty friendly. We went with only adults and thought the place could use some work, however little kids might get a kick out of the whole experience.

These people need help

We went to the ranch expecting a petting zoo. The first thing that stood out was a 600 lbs. bear in a cage that was designed for a much smaller animal. That in itself was reason enough to leave. Very sad. The people who run this place need to get some fundraising done to give some of these animals a better habitat. Jambbas Ranch needs to educate ...

The owner was extremely friendly. My two year absolutely loved it. He is very, very active. We soon realized he could run around without any fear of him being hurt. It was nice to get the bread and feed the animals. The experience was great. Our two year old son had a blast. Wear comfortable shoes if you plan on walking the whole thing. Our son had ...

The animals are all so friendly, and you can pet most any of them. You can buy a bucket of bread crust for $1 and feed it to the animals as you walk along the trail. You can also drive around the trails and see the different animals, if you dont feel like walking. My 2 year old and I went when it was a little bit too cold outside, but when it ...
