it is very rustic and certainly provides an excellent exposure to nature, with hiking, swimming, etc. daily bible lessons were great. however, the camp counselors overall are not particularly friendly--there is no welcoming words when you arrive, no one to direct you. the camp director was quiet and not outgoing whatsoever. he seemed more content strumming his guitar.

We loved using New Hope for our group. It's perfect for a mix of kids and adults. The trails were great and the large open fields enabled us to have big group games. We had a great time! The building are rustic but were perfect for our group.
