Garbage and trash everywhere. A green iguana that has no heat source, no UVA lights and no water source. Other reptiles that are in too small of cages. Half the animals that they say they have, they don't. The largest animal they have is a African Elephant with a habitat that isn't suitable for my dogs. 3 dollars for a hot dog is a RIPOFF. ...

I visited the Seneca Park Zoo, and I thought it was a very good zoo. I got some excellent photographs ( you can check them out at www.jayterkelphotography.net ) I'm a bird nut, and they did not have a lot of birds, but the Bald Eagle exhibit made up for the lack of numbers. They have 3 injured eagles, so you can see them fairly close without any barrier distractions. They also have a great polar bear habitat.

The last time i was at the zoo was 20 years ago!I saw alot more animals and the new home where very exelently done!I feelt like a kind again,i had a wonderful time i would tell anyone[any age]to go and see the excelent homes for the animals!I thank you for the of my life!!!!!!!!!!!

this is a wonderfull zoo with lots to do no matter if your yong or old. the zoo is a nice size but still expanding. It was a great experience and look foward to going back asap!!

I first visited the Seneca Park Zoo in Rochester NY in the early 1970s. At that time I was struck by the poorly designed and unnatural conditions the animals in the main building were housed in. Personaly, I would reccomend coming to the Zoo all the time! The zoo gives me a chance to see all the animals I read about (I love to read!) up close! Thanks to the zoo, my dreams of seeing wild animals up close and personal came true!

I love the Seneca Park Zoo. It is a wonderful place for kids. The compact size of teh zoo makes it an easy walk for little children and older people. It is set up to be both entertaining and amusing. I recommed it to every one I know

After visiting other zoos, this one doesn't have all that much to offer. I don't care for some of the animal habitats. They seem too small and have been that way for years. Not updated.
This is really not a good zoo for photo opps either. You have to view most of the animals through fences and bars.
Just my humble opinion.

I love going to the zoo im 11 years old but the zoos for any age i enjoy see animals that i usally dont see in my back yard some people hate it and one of the resons is they go on the hottest ddays and not all animals like to sun bathe but if u go on a cool day it is so much fun!! so take my advicce and go on a cool day!!!!!!u will really love it its a ripe off to get in but how else are they going to buy food if they dont have a lot of money??
