Interesting for the whole family and thought provoking. Well worth a visit if you are in this area. Lots of reading and photos of the 'incident' coverage , and some interesting displays and a couple of resident aliens too. This isnt a high-dollar disney-esque place so if thats what you want , dont go. Its more about facts , figures , photos ...
This was a great place to visit if you do not know anything or very little about the Roswell incident. You can hear the first radio news report from the incident. I really enjoyed myself. The only downside was the gift shop. They didn't have very good souvenirs.

I traveled with my husband, and both of us were really dissapointed. We only drove 4 hrs. from El Paso to be there. Can you imagine the dissapointment of those coming from far way from other parts of the world ? We are not big alien fans, but it's strange that they don't show videos, nor have sound effects,or big representations of what may ...

Good family fun

It was a nice side trip on our vacation. We are not big time UFO/Space people so we are not too concerned with all of the newspaper articles. Still enjoyed seeing what all the buzz had been about.

Boring for kids
By Leslie S, 07/27/06
If you are REALLY into UFOs then you will probably like it. Like another reviewer said, the "museum" is mostly filled with enlarged copies of notarized statements made of second hand accounts and newspaper articles. At least the fee was not too much and the gift shop had cute green alien souvenirs. We probably would have been okay ...
If you have never been, the International UFO Museum and Research Center in Roswell is definitely worth a stop. Housed in the old Plains Movie Theatre, this museum is full of interesting historic photos, documents, newspaper clippings and other items - all related to the so called "Roswell Incident", which took place back in July 1947. ...

Don't waste your time...

This "museum" is a joke and an embarrassment to the citizens of Roswell...not that they don't like to take in the money that comes with tourism BUT...if you just want a place to cool off in the summer time, the UFO museum is for you! If you want to see real aliens...go watch the border. Sorry, but I was truly disappointed in the exhibits...they consisted only of newspaper copies and pictures of people that said they were there.
