One wonderful placeWe love everything about Living Desert. It is a very educational, interesting, and fun place to go. The employees are so helpful and nice and the exhibits are wonderful. We live close, but with don't get away very often, so going to Living Desert is a real treat. We recommend it to others who ask about good places to visit.9 of 9 Yahoo! It's always a joy to seeI am from Carlsbad and I love the Living Desert. I go from time to time just to take the day off and enjoy myself. I would recommend this park to anyone living in or visiting New Mexico. The staff are always very friendly to me. very embarrassedI have been to this park many times in my life. This time i was so embarrassed to even have suggested it. I had a dear friend from Australia visiting and we were passing through Carlsbad. She wanted to see what some of the wildlife and plants looked like from this area. Very disappointedI am from Australia and was visiting New Mexico. While passing thru Carlsbad my friend told me I had to see the Living Desert. Although the park actually closed at 5.00pm we arrrived at 3.40pm. 10 minutes after the last visitors were allowed entry. We walked in hoping that we would still be allowed thru.
