Extremely Well-informed!The Daughters of the American Revolution maintain this house and garden. They are extremely knowledgeable about the origins, owners and guests of the house throughout the American Revolution and beyond!

Site of Alexander Hamilton & Betsy Schuyler's whirlwind romanceThe house was also the setting of Alexander Hamilton and Betsy Schuyler's whirlwind romance, which occured during General Washington's second winter encampment in Morristown 1779-80. I recently attended the gala Betrothal Party, complete with re-enactors from the well known soap opera, One Life to Live.
