Though the weather was windy and rainy in May when I visited, the reservoir didn't disappoint. It was impressive, huge, and beautiful, and despite the wind and rain, I made a trip around the entire lake. The camp grounds and beaches, though deserted this particular day, were well laid out and offered innumberable opportunities to the visitor wanting to stay. A recommended addition to a Valentine stay.

I fish here one week a year for the last 12 years. I love the lake and its location. It is never crowded and there are few to no recreational boaters in the early summer.
