Felt like a protestant church. No solemnity, no reverence. THE Priest paraded around the altar as if the mass was about him instead of about God (Fr. Parry?) Shameful. People talked to each other throughout the service. I've never seen a priest come down from the altar and shake hands with members of the congregation before. It felt like a revival meeting! (Another thing that made the mass feel as though it was all about the priest).

This is a beautiful church. The murals on the walls and ceilings depict images of people and stories from the bible, and the organ is gorgeous (they actually use it). There was a choir singing at the Mass we attended; the music was prayerful and relevent. The priest (a Father Vans?) gave a very challenging homily in a warm, humble manner. Can't wait to return!

too liberal

I felt like I had walked into a protestant church. The children are sent to a bible class during Mass instead of staying and the homily was lacking any catholic teaching. Also noticed that the people talked throughout the Mass and for the most part didn't seem to be paying much attention.
