My tour of the Conrad Mansion sparked my interest once again in the history of the taming of the west. It was interesting enough walking through the elaborate home of a wealthy family in the late 1800's, but when I learned of the distinguished historical figures that stayed there as guests I became, at the least, very intrigued. A great memory for the past 30 years
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/17/07
Around 1977ish was my first visit to the Mansion. I was a Flight Attendant for Hughes Air West and had many overnights in Kalispell. What a great little town. I have seen the Mansion on HGTV in the past years, would love to see more of the rooms. Is their a detailed book of pictures availible? Would be very interested. I am one of your biggest fans. Thanks, Sharon Johnson

What a house for children
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/21/05
What a house for children... that's the thought that raced through my mind throughout the entire tour! It was a very enjoyable experience and the tour guide was most impressive with her knowledge of the family. Everyone there continued the Conrad spirit of welcoming visitors in to the home.
The tour of the Conrad Mansion is fantastic! The tour guides dress in character, making the story that much more enjoyable. The house has very unique rooms and details. Learning about the family that once lived there and how they went about their daily routines in the house was very interesting and educational. Great tour for people, and especially children, of all ages!
