The gentleman that guided us through the cave was informative, entertaining, and kind enough to let us individually linger for pics (we were a small group of approx. 15). He is the one who is responsible for adding more and more new paths and electrical cable! The cave is huge and magnificent, just beautiful! I will be going back again for sure. ...
The older gentlemen who owns it and gave the tour was phenomenal. His wife had recently had knee replacement surgery so he was taking care of it by himself. He gave a wonderful narration showing us all the great features of the cave. My wife, son and I visited on 31 August 2008 and we all three highly recommend this to anyone. Even experienced spelunkers will enjoy the cave.

Great cave great owner
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/18/07
My wife and I have toured several caves and this tour was one of the most enjoyable. The elderly owner (89 years young) loves his cave and it shows. I do not believe he gives tours to make money, but to share the cave and it's history.

Loved the tour

I have been to this cave two times myself and my 9 year old has been with school 3 times. We have always had a geat time. Will bring my younger son in a year or two. This Cave is way better compared to other larger tours according to my son. Way worth the wait! Must appreciate natural cave beauty. This is a living growing cave (though it was ...
My husband and I were amazed at the natural beauty of this privately owned treasure! Mr Richardson and his wife have done an excellent job of preserving Crystal Cave and its history. You should be able to walk on uneven surfaces at times and the tour is about 90 minutes. We highly recommend it if you want an unforgettable cave adventure! ...
The cave is big and the owner made a lot of improvements and opened new rooms. It is very important to call first and tell when you are going to come. We did so, and didn't have any problems. It is an interesting cave, though, I think Bridal Cave in Osage Beach is much more interesting.
This was an excellent cave for the rawness. If you like caves that have not been visited very often then this is the cave for you. When we were there in 2003, the owner, a wonderful man, took us into a part of the cave that he had recently discovered. We were honored that he did that for us. It was a beautiful cave. We were the only ones on the tour that day. It wa our anniversary and he made it memorible for us.
Yes, sometimes the owners don't come down to the cave on time, but give them a break- they are an elderly couple who do it all themselves! We are lucky they are even letting us see this cave. It is on private property, like many caves in the Ozarks, and they could chose to keep visitors out. Instead they share it with others as much as they ...

Great cave with lots to see
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/29/05
It's a great small cave that gives a good feel for the kind of caves you'll find in the Ozarks. While the narrative is sometimes a bit much from the owners/guides, it is good for kids and keeps them involved.

Great Fun
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/27/05
This was a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend it. It was a great value. We had 80 minute tour by the owner Loyd. He was as fun as the cave itself. My children loved it. We loved being able to walk through.
