The course is very attractive with lots of trees and water. The shots are very diverse and different levels of difficultly. My favorite are the shots over the water. Each of those shots are also very different from each other. It's really a nice course and a great value. I have played courses in other states and L.A. Nickell is still one of my favorites.

Lots of Fun

This course is a great place for beginners or even the most experienced golfers to play and have fun. It is a nice course with well kept greens and tee boxes. It is not the farthest course but hitting fairways is essential on most holes because of the thick brush. It is a fun and challenging course.

Annual Trip
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/17/05
Our group plays there every year before the start of the Knights of Columbus State Softball tournament. We come from KC #1185(DeSoto) and started with just 3, and now have extended to 12-15 people! It is an excellent course! It is always well maintained and the staff are always very nice. We have made it a must before the softball tourney starts on the weekend.
